1Who we are

DeadCatFound ("we", "us") is an independent educational project and a self-operated paper-trading firm, published at deadcatfound.org and related subdomains. We are not a broker, advisor, or financial institution.

2What we collect

• Nothing required to browse or take courses. No sign-up, no login.
• Contact details you give us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email, and message — used only to respond.
• Standard server logs. Our host (Cloudflare) may log IP addresses, request times, and user-agent strings for security and reliability. We don't use these to identify individuals.
• No advertising trackers. We don't run third-party ad pixels or sell behavioral profiles.

3Cookies & local storage

We use minimal browser storage for things like remembering UI preferences. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising. You can clear site data anytime in your browser.

4How we use information

• To answer your questions and provide support.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.
• To comply with the law where required.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

5Third parties

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers (e.g. Cloudflare for hosting, email for replies). Premium research is built on public data sources (SEC EDGAR, yfinance, GDELT). These providers process data under their own policies.

6Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, request deletion, or opt out of any contact, by emailing hello@deadcatfound.org. Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have additional rights; we honor reasonable requests.

7Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
